I have learned a few things about myself over the last few years. Namely, every time I try and update my ‘about me’ section, whether it be on my blog or otherwise, I return to the same things. I have a penchant for chai or peppermint tea by my side while I craft. Curry is my favorite flavor, and campfire my favorite scent. I have a steadfast love for the colors navy and mustard, and most autumnal shades charm me. I love baking, and I like to leave the cooking to my honey, Scott. Reading is one of my passions. I like making things with my hands.
As much as it feels like things have stayed the same, they’ve changed. I finished my degree in art history and am working my way through graduate school. I have two amazing jobs, one in the history field and one in craft. I’m s l o w l y planning a low-key, DIY wedding. I’ve been dreaming about being away from the bustle of the city, and this year, that dream got about an inch closer.
This blog is the outlet for my crafts – knitting, sewing, crochet, perhaps even cooking – and a record of how these things all make my life better.
