Notes from beside the fire.

The fastest way to calm, clarity, and surprisingly, productivity, is a drive away from the city. This weekend we swept off to Scott’s parents house in CT to get some serious homework (and knitting) done. His parents have been away on vacation, so we’ve been watching the house and enjoying the creature comforts that come along with it–land, space, cable television, an abundance of food, quiet, and, most importantly, a woodstove. I’m enjoying it all too much to produce a serious blog post, so I’ll leave you with some snapshots of our time thus far. We’ll be–hopefully–having a knits photoshoot tomorrow, so I’ll be able to show you some knits finished up over the last few months that haven’t had proper blog time.

I hope that everyone is enjoying their Friday!

Sally and I have finally bonded. It only took almost four years.
